What Does Success Navigator Include?
“Let’s Get Started” Meeting
Your dedicated ECRS consultant will meet with you to discuss your needs, listen to your goals, gather information, and build the framework of your Success Navigation strategy.
A standard analysis of your CATAPULT database will identify key factors that may be impeding your success. Issues that should be addressed will be included as part of your Success Navigation Initial Report
Success Navigation Initial Report
With your goals in mind and the database review complete, your dedicated consultant will present their initial report and review existing concerns, recommend initiatives, and lay the groundwork for your Success Navigation strategy. They will assign take-away’s and deliverables for your team and set-up a schedule for your recurring meetings. For a better understanding of the Success Navigation report, we have prepared a sample for you to view.
Bi-weekly Meetings – (the heart of the program)
A one-hour strategy session with your dedicated ECRS consultant occurs every two weeks to discuss goals, evaluate progress, brainstorm ideas, and develop growth strategies. These meetings should be used to address your top priorities, and can include:
- goal-oriented and long-term strategy conversations,
- reviews of completed actions, upcoming concerns and identified goals,
- progress check-ins to keep you on target with your initiatives,
- recommendations for training resources or further research,
- tool training, and
- best practice techniques.
Together, the customer and consultant will continue the cycle of improvement month-after-month.

Who is the Success Navigator Team?
John Asher – Success Navigator
John has more than 40 years of retail experience as both a retailer and wholesale distributor. His philosophy is that “the data you collect is your customer’s vote that tells you what they will buy and what they are willing to pay for it. If we don’t listen to them why are we in business?” His strength is using automation to increase sales, decrease inventory, and improve profits. His strongest asset is his ability to break large problems down into manageable pieces and his ability to relate to the specific needs of the retail environment.
John Grasinger – Success Navigator
With his 15 years of combined wholesale, retail, and retail consulting experience, John Grasinger brings a wealth of knowledge to his consultations. He also has his CPA with a Master in Accountancy.

John Kidney – Success Navigator
Before joining ECRS, John Kidney was based in the natural foods segment. Originally from Melbourne, Australia, John joined ECRS in 2012 and has been heavily requested by clients ever since. John is well known for his ability to dig deep and leave no stone unturned when assessing a retailer’s strengths and weaknesses. He appreciates details, precision and effective execution in his work.
