The strenuous, seven-hour eLearning course and extensive examination ensures that ECRS can provide well-versed professionals for the secure installation and system security maintenance of the ECRS CATAPULT® platform. Through the certified team’s efforts, ECRS is now listed on the PCI website as a primary resource for retailers.
This distinguished training program and certification further guarantees added security for ECRS’ customers by protecting them from credit card fraud. Because of the newly-gained knowledge about secure processing of payment applications, our staff will be able to build trusted, long-term working relationships with our customers.
What the certification means to retailers is that ECRS adheres to the best practices as defined by the PCI Data Security Standard in order to protect important customer data as it is stored and used within the ECRS CATAPULT® unified commerce platform. In addition, it provides reassurance to your customers that you are partnering with a qualified and trusted company who is a certified service provider.
Smaller merchants without an internal IT department are recommended by the PCI Security Standards Council to use QIR certified installers to avoid the risk of potential security threats. With our new QIR certified technical advisors, ECRS can now cater to this group of retailers.
