Boone, NC — August 4, 2025 — ECRS is proud to announce the successful completion of its SOC 2 Type 1 audit, conducted by an independent CPA firm in accordance with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Trust Services Criteria. The audit affirms ECRS’ commitment to maintaining the highest standards of security and operational integrity across its technology platforms.
The SOC 2 Type 1 report evaluates the design and implementation of ECRS’ internal controls as of June 9, 2025, focusing on the Security and Confidentiality criteria. These controls are foundational to protecting customer data and ensuring the reliability of services such as Automated Software Deployment, Online Backup, VPN Hosting, Remote Access, CATAPULT WebCart™, and CATAPULT Cognition® APIs.
“This milestone reflects our dedication to a security-first approach,” said ECRS IT Director, Rob Lewis, who oversaw the audit process. “We’ve documented and formalized 147 security controls, implemented new security applications, and codified corporate policies including Business Continuity, Risk Management, and Vendor Management to strengthen our framework”.
