Boone, NC — February 11, 2026 — ECRS® is proud to announce the successful completion of its SOC 2 Type 2 audit, conducted by an independent CPA firm in accordance with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Trust Services Criteria. This accomplishment underscores ECRS’ commitment to maintaining the highest standards of security, confidentiality, and operational integrity across its technology platforms.
The SOC 2 Type 2 report evaluates both the design and operational effectiveness of ECRS’ internal controls over a defined audit period. For this audit, the reviewing firm analyzed data and control performance, assessing how consistently and effectively ECRS’ security and confidentiality controls were executed in daily practice.
These controls safeguard customer data and support the reliability of key ECRS services, including Automated Software Deployment, Online Backup, VPN Hosting, Remote Access, CATAPULT WebCart™, and CATAPULT Cognition® APIs.
“ECRS continues to prioritize a security-first approach,” said Rob Lewis, ECRS IT Director. “We’ve documented, formalized, and reviewed 147 security controls, implemented new security applications, and codified corporate policies such as Business Continuity, Risk Management, and Vendor Management to maintain and strengthen our framework.”
A SOC 2 Type 2 report provides stakeholders with a detailed, independently validated view of an organization’s security posture. By examining how controls operate over time, the report equips customers and partners with meaningful insight into ECRS’ resilience, governance, and commitment to data protection.
