Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How long does it take to receive my card order?
Production of your order will start as soon as the proof is signed and returned, and you have approved the quote. For sequential gift cards (least secure option), it takes approximately 7-10 business days for delivery. For PIN-protected barcoded gift cards, it takes approximately 2-4 weeks for delivery.
Q: What does PIN-protected mean?
Gift cards that are PIN-protected have a scratch off panel on the back that can only be scratched off after purchase, meaning the gift card holder is the only person who knows the PIN after scratching it off the card. This adds an extra layer of security so that gift card numbers cannot be easily guessed.
Q: What does sequential barcode mean?
An example of a sequential barcode is 9100002. With sequential barcodes, the next gift card barcode number would be 9100003, after that would be 9100004. This makes it easy for others to guess a gift card number and potentially use funds from another legitimate gift card holder.
Q: Can I order a Rush service for my order?
Yes, for an additional fee, your order can be rushed. The card production and shipment time will be reduced to 5 business days or less.
Q: How do the cards ship?
The cards will ship via UPS Ground.
Q: Do you offer matte gift cards?
Yes. These are only available in the less secure options for an additional fee. Please note they can only be printed on one side.
Q: Can physical gift cards be redeemed on CATAPULT WebCart?
PIN-Protected Gift Cards may be redeemed on CATAPULT WebCart. Sequential barcoded gift cards are not redeemable on CATAPULT WebCart.
Q: How do I sell e-Gift Cards?
A CATAPULT WebCart license is required for customers to purchase e-Gift Cards. Contact Customer Care for more information if you are interested in offering e-Gift Cards.
Q: Do I need to have ePayments setup in WebCart to be able to accept e-Gift cards?
Yes.
Q: Do you offer recycled gift cards?
Yes. These are only available in the less secure options for an additional fee.
Q: Do I have to pay a setup fee if I am reordering using the same artwork that is on file?
Nope!
Q: Do you offer design assistance?
Yes, for an additional fee. Design assistance is offered for minor design updates, like updating contact information or replacing logos.
Q: Can I order gift cards with a pre-set value?
Gift cards may be ordered with an open or pre-set value. If you choose to pre-set the value of your gift cards, each value grouping must be ordered at a minimum quantity of 1,000.
Q: Can a shopper purchase a Gift Card with Loyalty Points?
No.

Q: What is the digital printing quality like?
Digital printing is a high-quality, 4-color printing method available for short or long runs at a cost that is less expensive than offset printing. It will allow for a full bleed of the artwork to the edges of the card. Digital printing also allows for color and graphics on the back of the card at an additional cost.
